A little mind escapade I had a second ago...

Sometimes while looking through your inbox, you see a couple of new people have followed you. So you drop by their dev page - maybe just to say thank you or what have you. But then, every blue moon, you stumble across a very young artist (experience wise) who's just a little ... different.

Now, the person's work may not be anatomically correct, colour theory might be sketchy at best, or heavens forbid, they're locked so tightly into the anime style that you physically cringe...but there's something about the work that draws you in, you see potential, a spark a defining feature that stands out and so, you devwatch them. You know that in a few years time, if those individuals keep it up, they're gonna be great.

How many of you fancy yourself to have that ability? Serious discussions please.

_{On a side note: Yes, I don't think very young artists should draw anime. I understand, to some extent that its the easiest thing to find and inspire but it cripples you -severely- down the line. Especially if you haven't the will to break out of it and do other things. I will probably write a journal about this as well later on.}
